In order to develop fresh and high-caliber concert programs, In Radiance commissions new music and arrangements of existing works. Their repertoire spans many genres, giving them the flexibility to target specific venues. They are advocates of the flute quintet because it of its unique instrumentation that has the flexibility to play any work or genre, often employing extended techniques such as beat-boxing. In Radiance enjoys collaborating with new composers to create original flute quintet pieces and expand the flute quintet repertoire. In August 2016, In Radiance was asked to perform their newest commission, Across the Synapse, by Paul Sayed, at the National Flute Association (NFA) Annual Convention. In Radiance's newest commission will be premiered at the Convention this coming August in Minneapolis.
